Jim has over 45 years of experience teaching in the area of electrical engineering at the University of Georgia in the department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, where he holds the distinguished title of Emeritus Professor. He has instructed continuing education courses to contractors, courses to electrical maintenance personnel across the southeast, and numerous courses to electric utility employees. Jim takes a hands on approach to his teaching and encourages his students to participate and learn. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the state of Georgia, and has written many publications including the 1997 Electrical Control Manual. |
